Kitten Adoption Process

Review the checklist below to make sure you’re ready to bring your new furever friend home!

  • Check our Facebook page on Friday’s at 9am where we will post pictures and bios of all cats/kittens available for adoption. 

  • Kitten adoptions are held almost every Saturday & Sunday from 12pm-5pm at PetSmart on Fairway Drive in Roseville.

  • Sign ups for adoptions begin at 9am on Saturdays and Sundays at PetSmart when we have kittens available.

  • Bring your ID or Driver’s License with you. Must be 18 years or older to adopt a kitten.

  • Submit an application before heading to PetSmart to save time!

  • All kittens from Itsie Bitsie Rescue are to be kept indoors only.

  • Kitten adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. Be sure to have a back up kitten in mind in case your first choice has already been adopted.

  • Have a carrier ready. If you do not have one, one can be purchased in store for $20.00 and up. Kittens MUST go home in a secure carrier.

  • Payment – Our adoption fees are as follows:
    $135 Kitten
    $100 Adult Cat

  • Do you know what’s better than adopting one kitten? Two kittens! Studies show that kittens do significantly better adjusting to their new homes if they are adopted with a sibling. Learn More

  • All IBR cats/kittens are spayed or neutered, microchipped, dewormed, appropriately vaccinated for their age, and vet checked.
